About Us

Woodbridge Quay Church is a friendly, lively church which welcomes visitors and new members alike. We formed from the merger of Beaumont Baptist Church and Quay United Reformed Church. We are an evangelical, Bible-based fellowship. Our members are involved in preaching and leading worship in the local prison, commenting on issues in the news on BBC Radio Suffolk and taking a short service monthly at a residential nursing home.

We are a diverse group in terms of Christian experience and worship style being blessed with many talented musicians who lead our worship. We sing modern worship songs with one, or two, hymns in our services. We even have members who write new songs for us.

Pastoral care is undertaken by our House Group leaders, some of whom have been trained in listening skills. We are active members of Churches Together and participate with them in outreach and quarterly joint services. All those who work with children or young people have been checked under the Baptist Union 'Safe to Grow' policy.

Minister
Our minister is The Rev. Mark Hardingham BD(Hons). Mark is married to Janet and they have two children, Chaz and Katie. Mark trained at Spurgeon's College, London. Prior to that he worked for one of the UK's leading banks.
