WQC supports Helps International

Helps International (HINT) Cameroon is a Christian charity whose mission is to improve the social and economic well-being and health of the poor and under privileged in our society through education, skill development and job creation.

Michael and Margaret Astbury have visited HINT while their daughter, Heather, was volunteering with them.

WQC currently supports HINT in three ways -
- We have provided funding for the a programme to provide school books for poorer families
- One of our House Groups sponsors three children, see below.
- The House Group has also supported HINT's Children For God initiative, see lower down the page.

Here are two photos of the some of the Children For God who have been helped by a donation from one of our House Groups. Children For God ( C4G) is an inter-denominational children's ministry in Bonduma village with about 90 - 95 children. More pictures can be found in HINT's Picasa album.
