We, the Minister and members of Woodbridge Quay Church invite you to join
us for our Sunday service or any of our mid-week activities.
Sunday Services - what to expectOur services are held every Sunday at 10:30 am. We worship in an informal, contemporary style mixing traditional hymns with modern worship songs. After a time of worship the children leave for age-related groups where they receive stimulating teaching from teachers who have been cleared for working with children. Adults remain for Bible-based teaching. We do not take up a collection, although a box is provided by the door for those who wish to give. We include multi-media material on a large screen. We usually end at about 11:45 and we would love you to stay for tea or coffee and a chat, so we can get to know you better. We support Woodbridge's bid to become a Fair Trade Town and use fairly-traded tea and coffee. Some Sundays in the summer we hold a bar-b-que after the service. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month in the morning service and at other times in fellowship meetings. Communion is open to all who love and serve God. If you are unsure you are welcome to just observe. On the third Sunday in each month we have an Interactive Family Service when the children stay in for the whole service. When Churches Together hold a joint evening service we support it. Church Fellowship evenings take place on week nights at least monthly. Children and Young PeopleWe have Sunday School for children, a group for young teen-agers, and a creche for little ones. All our teachers and carers have been through a 'Safe to Grow' course for looking after children. For information about our minister see the 'About us' page.
